Honeybees – a keystone species vital to sustaining our ecosystem – are mysteriously disappearing across the planet.

On Earth Day, April 22, 2011, join us for Miami’s first screening of “Vanishing of the Bees” and get inspired with an eye opening evening where food & film intertwine both on-screen & off-screen.
Directly experience how crucial honeybees are in our food supply through a delightful & delicious arrangement of tapas, beverages & desserts consisting of foods that would no longer be available, or would be very difficult to find, if our honeybees ceased to exist.

Savor honeybee foods and get inspired to Bee the Change You Want to See in the World.

About The Chef: Chef Jonathan comes from an Italian food-worshipping family. He is wild about food and wild about nature, which is a perfect combination for an Earth Day culinary experience. He studied at Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts in 2007 and since then has worked at many farm-to-table and vegan restaurants around the country. He is formerly of Pure Food & Wine in New York, and Sublime & Om Garden in South Florida. Chef Jonathan spent a season learning how to grow food in the farms of Homestead, Florida and says, “To grow food is the most amazing and empowering thing a person can do to become more in touch with Mother Nature, the real top chef.”
Chef Jonathan will be serving up locally- harvested, organic honeybee-inspired gourmet delights. Sweet pleasure for your palate that you won't want to miss.
